I am finishing reading this book and it has been a great resource to learn Git, the basics and quite a few more advanced topics as well. All is explained very clearly and with abundant examples. Recommended if you want to learn git from scratch or amplify your knowledge

I recommend this book if you are starting Perl, it has some good exercises with clear explanations. That helped me to get a hang of the language
