I use your email address only once to send a welcome email with links for your reference. The only thing stored in the My Reading List database is what you input on the site. This data can be edited by you at any time during your access to the app. When accepting this FB app, "post to FB wall" is a separate permission you can accept / deny, however, this app will only post to your wall if you accepted that behavior when you are adding books.
